If you’re heading outdoors for either an extended excursion or into an area you’re unfamiliar with, prepare for every contingency. Let’s face it, none of us go hiking or camping with the hope we’ll get into trouble, but sometimes trouble finds us and the responsible outdoor enthusiast is ready for every situation. In this section of the Oceanscape Network, we’ll help prepare you for some possible emergencies. Some of these can be encountered anywhere, others are more particular to Oregon, but all should be considered before you head out.
