Back to THE STREAM
Beginning in January 2020, the Lincoln County Interpretive Association will offer monthly suggestions for how you can explore the Central Oregon Coast. From taking a hike in a new place, participating in a citizen science project, or exploring a museum, aquarium or science center, these are practical and low cost ways you can explore one of the most beautiful places in Oregon.
This January, grab your camera and winter storm watch from an Oregon Coast headland.
During the winter months, the Oregon Coast can be the backdrop for some amazingly dramatic weather. Storm clouds surge in over the Pacific. The uplands and mountains are draped in mist. Everything glistens with moisture, ice... and sometimes even snow. So bundle up, grab your camera, and see nature at its wildest!
The Stream is a constantly-updated flow of information from the Oceanscape Network and our various partner organizations. The Stream provides announcements, links, images and video about the Oregon Coast, our amazing ocean and the natural world around us.
