Wow, it’s already our last day of the cruise. I can’t believe our Creep into the Deep adventure is already over. It has been so much fun sharing our research and week with you. We’ve learned so much on this cruise, I hope you did, too. Edie, Sonke, Chuck, Heather and I will continue to examine the images and samples we collected long after we return home. We always have more questions and hope to discover more.

After our last ROV dive, we’ll head back to our starting point in Louisiana. After we off-load and ship all our equipment, we’ll return home to family and friends.
Thank you so much for joining us, sharing your thoughts, and questions. You can proudly say you were with us as part of the Science Team, in our lab and in the deep with the ROV. You were part of some very important research to study and understand the deep sea.

Maybe someday you’ll join us in person on a research cruise to conduct your own deep-sea research. I look forward to that!

Safe journeys, my friends!
